Pendant River – knitted steel mesh

River belongs to a special group of our lamps, produced in small quantities of 3-5 pieces. When the stock is sold out, we invent something new.

The handmade pendant is made of fine knitted stainless steel and when the light is on, it reminds of a sparkling river. The sculptural pendant has a clear reference to Birgit Østergaard’s other artistic practices and the high degree of finish with red hand sewn crosses makes the lamp a piece of art craft. Each copy is provided with signature and number.

The finish is extra-ordinary high with high gloss polished socket and canopy, chromed interior screen and round transparent cable. The elegant pendant provides ambience adding a touch of courage and edge to the rest of the décor.

River is delivered assembled with 3,5 m of transparent cable and canopy. Cleaning is carried out by vacuuming with a soft brush or gently wiping with a damp cloth without soap.
